VDOT contractor Tavares Concrete Co., Inc. of Lorton completed this park and ride expansion project on Oct. 31, about one month ahead of schedule.
This SMART SCALE project expanded the existing Park and Ride lot at Route 29 and Route 663 (Alanthus Road) to 95 spaces.
Improvements include paving, signs and lighting, as well as corrective action to address safety and drainage issues.
Benefits
The project expanded the lot from 45 spaces to 95 spaces with improved access and lighting.
