In Design: Intersection of Route 83 and Main Street at Clintwood (Dickenson County)

Design is underway to replace the traffic signal at the intersection of Route 83 and Route 607 (Main Street) in the Town of Clintwood with a roundabout. The roundabout will address safety and efficiently move traffic through the intersection. The roundabout will be constructed by Food City in conjunction with their development of a new store in Clintwood.  Food City will convey right of way for the project to VDOT following the completion of the project. An in-person public meeting for the proposed roundabout was held June 23, 2022.
